The MOVIEtube is the most modern professional 35MM lens adapter for 1/3” chip camcorders. Featuring a newly developed micro-crystalline FILMscreen that is much sharper than the conventional ground glass model, the MOVIEtube does not need any motors for spinning or oscillating the focal screen. No grain is apparent resulting in a much simpler configuration which is much easier to operate and maintain in the field. It can be used with PL mount prime lenses and or adapters to fit a variety of popular 35mm still lenses. The MOVIEtube uses a full S-35mm film aperture allowing complete lens coverage with a reduced depth of field so essential to good cinematography. The dense arrangement of microscopic particles used in the FILMscreen scatters light much like film emulsion does minimizing video artifacts such as moirés and aliasing and reduces the judder from panning at 24P.
