MARK HAMMOND
Mark Hammond has worked as a director, producer and writer of film,
television and theater for the last twenty years. Mr. Hammond has
extensive experience in putting together international co-productions
including internationally broadcast documentaries; Japan: Food
for the Spirit, (1988); The Silent Invasion, (1989);
Taiwan 2000, (1986); Paper Clouds, (1990); Return
Cycle, (1990); Koyasan, (1991) and In No Uncertain
Terms, (1996). Short dramatic directorial credits include Moonfire,
(1994); Dead Witness, (1996); Leave Taking, (1998)
and Butterfield (2001).
Mr. Hammond's directorial/writing credits include Stolen Song,
(1997) for Sony, a $2.5 million interactive film that has grossed
more than $10 million to date. His directorial theatre credits include
No No Godot (Manhattan Arts Center), Wu Wei (Taipei
Theatre Center, Taipei, Taiwan) Girl's Town (Actor's Playhouse),
Virgil (Theatre for the New City), Where
the Body Lies,(Nuyorican) and the critically-
acclaimed tango theatre production, Vice Verso. |

Mr. Hammond also co-produced the Jamaican production One Love,
a romantic drama starring Bob Marley's son, Ky-Mani Marley. He also
produced the multiple award-winning short film Driving Fish
and Waves, a UK/Italian co-production starring Peter Mullen
and Lorenza Indovina. He also directed the recently released feature
Johnny Was, a UK/Irish/Danish co-production starring Vinnie
Jones, Samantha Mumba and Patrick Bergin. Mr. Hammond is currently
in postproduction on L'Amour Cache, a French-language
feature starring Isabelle Huppert and Greta Scacchi.
